Brand Story
The story goes that in 1958 an experienced pastry chef moved to the city of Mar del Plata, where he acquired the recipe and the registered trademark to begin making and marketing the renowned “Balcarce Dessert”, to which he later incorporated other products: alfajores, puddings, sweet bread and cookies.
“In a large kitchen measuring 7,500 m2” authentic recipes began to be processed with selected raw materials to produce exquisite sweet products. Where the strength and work of its people allowed us to consolidate a company, initially family-owned, into a nationally recognized brand and work, as we have done for more than 50 years, to fulfill our objective: "make Balcarce products accompany the moments most important things in your life"
