Yann Couvreur

Yann Couvreur was born in Paris, the son of a businessman, and grew up in Yvelines. He started making pastries during his internship. He then studied at Tecomah in Jouy-en-Josas and obtained the Professional Certificate in the Patent d'études Professionnelle de cook and pastry making.

He started working as a chef at Gérard Vié's Les Trois Marches restaurant at the Trianon Palace in Versailles. He then worked for Carrédes Feuillants in Paris for two years and then worked as a sous chef at the Park Hyatt Paris Vendôme. In 2010, he became a pastry chef at Eden Rock in Saint-Barthélémy.

Back in mainland France, he joined Lancaster and then Burgundy at the end of 2011. When it reopened in early 2013, he moved to the Prince of Wales. Brigadier, he makes pastries for the hotel’s breakfast and sweet appetizers and desserts for the gourmet restaurant La Scène.

In 2015, while working at the La Scène restaurant run by Stéphanie Le Quellec, he participated in a top chef performance as a jury member. A year later, he participated in the first season of the special celebrity Best Pastry Chef as a member of the jury and a guest chef.

Publications Community involvement In 2008, Cyril Lignac was chosen to support Un fruit pour la récré by the French ministry of Agriculture, a program of free fruits distribution in schools. In 2012, Cyril Lignac received his first Michelin star for his gourmet restaurant Le Quinzièmedical

At the same time, Gentlemen’s Quarterly Magazine recognized the chef when they named him "Chef of the Year".
